A new Rasmussen Reports poll revealed on Thursday that the majority of likely voters disapprove of President Joe Biden’s performance.
According to the poll, 50 percent disapproved while 49 percent approved of the president’s performance. The number included 28 40 percent who “strongly disapprove.”
The poll history revealed the number is now five percent higher than when Biden first entered the White House in January.
The disapproval rating increase comes as Biden faces a combination of increased inflation, an immigration crisis and growing crime problems associated with Democrats and his policies.
A Number of Growing Issues
Gas prices, for example, hit a seven year high over the Fourth of July weekend. The increase coincides with growing inflation nationwide during Biden’s term.
Immigration has served as the most concerning policy change in the Biden administration. More than 180,000 illegal immigrants crossed the nation’s southern border in May alone.
The nation has seen vast numbers of illegal immigrants, including tens of thousands of unaccompanied children, entering the nation during Biden’s first months in office.
The growing immigration concerns are not limited to people, but include increased drug trafficking, human smuggling and gang activity entering the nation.
To give one example, in the past 24 hours, more than 70 illegal immigrants were discovered in two homes in Laredo, Texas, by Customs and Border Patrol.

Surge in Crime
The surge in violent crime in major Democrat led cities has also been a concern for Biden’s agenda. He recently visited Mayor Lori Lightfoot in Chicago, where violent crime has been regularly noted.
However, during his visit, the two Democrat leaders reportedly did not discuss the violent crime spike.

Biden will continue to face high disapproval among Americans unless drastic change happens in the areas of the economy and public safety.
