A new poll spells bad news for President Joe Biden.
What the poll shows is that a clear majority of Americans believe that it would be an impeachable offense if it were to be discovered that Biden was “complicit” in his son Hunter Biden’s business activities.
The poll comes from Harvard Caps/Harris. The pollster surveyed 1,966 registered voters between April 20 and 21.
The survey asked participants a series of questions about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal under a section labeled “emerging issues.”
One of the questions that the pollster asked participants is this: “If in fact Joe Biden secretly participated and facilitated Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling business, do you think that might be an impeachable offense or not impeachable?”
A clear majority — 67% — selected “impeachable offense.” Only 33% chose “not impeachable.”
What’s more, 60% of participants said that based on what they have heard, they believe that Hunter Biden was “selling influence and access to his father Joe Biden.” That’s compared to 40% who stated that they do not believe this.
Furthermore, 58% said that based on what they have heard, they believe that Joe Biden “was part of Hunter Biden’s business on behalf of Ukrainian, Russian, and Chinese interests.” 42% said otherwise.
This is all part of the Hunter Biden laptop saga. The laptop — left at a Delaware computer repair shop — was initially deemed “Russian disinformation” by the left and by the mainstream medai during the months leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
Recently, however, left-leaning news outlets have admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop and its contents are authentic. In the above poll, 58% indicated that they also believe that the Hutner Biden laptop is “genuine.”
Among many other revelations, the laptop has provided insights into Hunter Biden’s international business dealings. In the process, it has raised questions about his father Joe Biden’s involvement, especially about whether Hunter Biden was essentially selling access to his father, a member of the U.S. government, and whether Joe Biden was aware of this.
More and more it appears that Hunter Biden just may have been selling influence and access to his father, but his father’s involvement remains less clear.
