Michael Moore is among President Trump’s most vocal opponents. Yet as the Washington Examiner recently reported, Moore recently put up a pair of Facebook posts warning of a possible Trump victory.
“Are you ready for a Trump victory? the left-wing filmmaker demanded. “Are you mentally prepared to be outsmarted by Trump again?”
“Do you find comfort in your certainty that there is no way Trump can win? Are you content with the trust you’ve placed in the DNC to pull this off?” he asked.
Trump gains ground in swing states
“I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance,” he continued. “The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS! For Joe, not so much.”
“Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump,” Moore insisted to his readers, going on to add that it is up to them “to get rid of Trump.”
“WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!”
For evidence, Moore cited recent polling data from swing states showing that Trump has managed to close the gap with his Democratic rival.
“Sorry to have to provide the reality check again, but when CNN polled registered voters in August in just the swing states, Biden and Trump were in a virtual tie,” the film maker noted. “In Minnesota, it’s 47-47. In Michigan, where Biden had a big lead, Trump has closed the gap to 4 points.”
Another Facebook post stated, “Someone needs to pull the political fire alarm NOW. Where are the stories about Trump gaining on Biden? Here is a Trafalgar poll from Friday in Michigan.”
“The previous week Trump had pulled within 4 points of Biden,” Moore explained. “Now, in this poll, Trump is AHEAD of Biden in Michigan, 47%-45%. Yet so many Dems are convinced Trump will lose. DANGER!”
“Also, check this out from Real Clear Politics — during the same week near the end of August, but 4 years apart: In 2016, Hillary was way ahead of Trump. But this past week, in some swing states, Biden’s lead is LESS than what Hillary’s was.”
Moore gained significant attention 4 years ago when he was among the few to correctly predict that Trump had a strong chance of winning over blue collar workers in the Midwest.
