Former President Barack Obama’s latest comments calling Republicans who oppose immigration “racist” constitute a new low for him and for Democrats who just can’t acknowledge that illegal immigration is bad for the country and for Americans.
While at a conference in California earlier in the week, Obama said, “Right now, the biggest fuel behind the Republican agenda is related to immigration and the fear that somehow America’s character is going to be changed if, people of darker shades, there are too many of them here.”

Never mind that Obama is doing what he has always done best–play the race card pathetically to get his way, like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum.
“Dangerous”
His statement also called GOP opposition to illegal immigration “dangerous,” but he apparently doesn’t think people drowning trying to cross the border, border town resources stretched thin by the influx of thousands of migrants, or drug and human traffickers crossing with everyone else dangerous.
No, it’s not dangerous that as Town Hall said, “convicted felons and suspected terrorists” are crossing the border.
And Obama apparently doesn’t think it’s the least bit dangerous that fentanyl is being smuggled across the border and killing people left and right. Why should he care about that when no one is going to blame him for it?
Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for young Americans, and it’s streaming straight across the border along with everyone and everything else.
Dog whistle
Certainly, Obama’s not the only one trotting out the “racist” dog whistle to try to cover up the Biden administration’s massive failures on immigration.
Biden does it every chance he gets. All the Democrats do.
It’s a little rich coming from Obama, who some have called the “deporter-in-chief” because of the high number of people he deported when he was in office, even as he championed illegal immigration.
Hypocrisy has become a way of life for the left, because the press refuses to call them on it no matter how blatant.
And the cry of “racist” is nothing but Democrats’ attempt to get people off their backs and shut down their opposition.
