A new Trafalgar Group poll revealed on Monday that most Americans blame President Joe Biden for the nation’s rising inflation over former President Donald Trump.
“On a wide range of issues that hit home for and impact everyday Americans—from the border, to COVID-19 policy, to inflation—current leadership in Washington is not only getting it wrong, they’re focused on issues that only DC elites care about. And DC doesn’t pay the price, we do,” said Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action, in a news release.
“We’re continuing our work in states across America to advance agenda items that help real people solve real problems.
“The swamp has demonstrated a consistent inability to care about making our lives better, which is why we have to increase the focus on taking strong leadership in our own backyards,” he added.
It’s Biden’s Fault–According to Americans

According to the news release by the Convention of States that sponsored the poll,
- Nearly 36% of INDEPENDENTS say Biden, 31% say Congress, 17% say Former President Trump
- Nearly 28% of DEMOCRATS say Former President Trump to Blame, 28% say Congress, almost 22% say Biden
- Nearly 65% of GOP say Biden, with 17% blaming Congress
The Trafalgar Group poll was conducted between June 6 – 7 with 1,073 likely general election voters responding. The poll had 95 percent confidence, and a margin of error of 2.99%.
The Unsurprising Conclusion
The news release also concluded, “It’s no wonder Americans feel this way. According to a top economist under former President Barack Obama, the policies of the Biden administration are directly leading to higher prices and a serious labor shortage.
“Federal meddling in the economy has finally come home to roost, and as Mark points out, everyday Americans are paying the price.”
Financial experts expect inflation to continue under the current Biden administration policies. It’s not a matter of whether inflation will increase, but by how much.
As time continues, it will clearly be viewed as the responsibility of Biden rather than Trump’s past efforts that influence the nation’s economy.
