President Joe Biden’s critics have long complained that his obvious cognitive struggles make him unfit to serve as president.
Those complaints appear to have been vindicated again this week following an embarrassing performance on a foreign trip.
Clips show Biden speaking incoherently before being guided to his seat
That was evident from video footage taken during an event Biden attended on Thursday with Israeli President Issac Herzog.
In one clip publicized by the Twitter account RNC Research, the United States president can be heard speaking incoherently about his career in public life.
“And, uh, I’ve had the honor…it’s hard to say these words–for over 50 years–I can’t be that long, but for over 50 years, uh, in the federal government helping build relationships,” Biden said.

Another clip shows the president shaking hands with Herzog before turning around in an apparent attempt to shake hands with someone else despite no one being president. Herzog then appears to guide Biden to his seat.
“His fitness, his vigor, is beyond question.”

Fox News host says Biden’s deterioration “is horrible for all of us”
This was not the first time that Biden has been accused of shaking hands with a phantom individual, as in April Fox News broadcast footage of him seeming to do the same thing after concluding a speech in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Host Tammy Bruce remarked, “This week President Biden, and you’ve perhaps seen this, looked lost and confused, and at one point he attempted to shake hands with someone who wasn’t there.”
On Friday, fellow Fox News host Tucker Carlson also took note of Biden’s diminished performance, saying, “Look how pathetic he is but, you know, if you’re an American, there’s no upside. Actually, this is horrible for all of us.”
“It reflects poorly not just on the Democratic Party or Biden himself, but on our country and it’s happening constantly with increasing frequency,” Carlson went on to complain.
