Despite the best efforts of his media handlers, Joe Biden is taking major heat for his racist comments during a radio interview this week.
In yet another blow for the Biden campaign, another prominent black American has come out with a strong rebuke for Biden. This time, it’s Herschel Walker, a former Heishman Trophy winner and long time NFL star.
Walker didn’t pull any punches in addressing Biden’s comments.
Wow,” Walker responded. “I just watched former Vice President @JoeBiden… Does he not understand that black and brown skinned people can think for themselves. You don’t determine who we vote for.”
After posting the comment, Walker received acknowledgement from President Trump.
“Thank you Herschel!” the president wrote.
It should even need to be said, but Biden’s “you ain’t black” comments are reprehensible. But many in the media seem eager to excuse him.
One prominent commentator, Jemile Hill (formerly of ESPN), even said the remarks were “accurate.”
Can you imagine if any conservative said something like that? The media would have a field day.
It’s important for leaders like Walker to come forward and make their voices heard – being a Democrat shouldn’t be a free pass for being a racist.
