On phone call with governors, Biden admits there’s ‘no federal solution’ to COVID pandemic

President Joe Biden and every last one of his surrogates during the 2020 election campaign season, not only bashed former President Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic, but vowed and promised repeatedly that under Biden, all the COVID-19 madness would finally come to an end.

Unfortunately for the millions of American voters who bought into such malarkey, Biden is no closer today to ending the pandemic, and as a matter of fact, it’s getting worse. According to Fox News, the president admitted on Monday during a phone conference with several governors that there’s “no federal solution” to the pandemic.

The conference call came on the heels of the president taking fire from both sides of the aisle over the government’s failed promise to provide at-home testing kits in time for the holidays when they were needed the most.

Now, he’ll face a new round of criticism for grossly failing in his handling of the pandemic, so far, especially after the promises he made that largely got him elected to the White House.

Governors’ warning

Biden’s admission came after Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson warned the president that his administration should be careful in not interfering with how states handle their specific and unique COVID-10 pandemic situations.

“One word of concern or encouragement for your team is that as you look towards federal solutions that will help alleviate the challenge, make sure that we do not let federal solutions stand in the way of state solutions,” Hutchinson said on the call.

She added: “The production of 500 million rapid tests that will be distributed by the federal government is great, but obviously that dries up the supply chain for the solutions that we might offer as governor.”

That’s when Biden dropped a bombshell that likely had his handlers in the background stressing out. “There is no federal solution. This gets solved at the state level,” Biden said.

Biden’s lies

Biden’s admission, however, is not only a stark contradiction to his campaign promises, but it’s also a total lie, as the U.S. government, on Biden’s watch, has seemingly used every single federal tool available to intervene in the pandemic.

Not only has his Department of Education intervened in school districts across the country on the issue of masking mandates, but he’s also used his powers to enact federal vaccine mandates for federal contractors and the military.

He also grossly overreached his powers by enacting a vaccine mandate for private businesses that employ over 100 workers, though both of the aforementioned mandates are currently being challenged in the courts and will receive a final ruling from the Supreme Court in the coming months.

It’s clear at this point that the Biden administration is only interested in doing damage control for its complete mishandling of the pandemic, as America has seen more deaths from COVID-19 under his watch than under the watch of his predecessor.
