O’Reilly says Trump History Tour will be ‘all history, no hyperbole’

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly just provided a preview of the upcoming tour that he will be doing with former President Donald Trump.

O’Reilly told Newsmax that the Trump History Tour will be “all history” and “no hyperbole.”

What to expect:

O’Reilly provided some revelations about the Trump History Tour during an appearance on “Greg Kelly Reports” on Tuesday.

“It’s not going to be a rally. It’s not going to be relitigating the election. It’s going to be, ‘what really happened when you were president?'” O’Reilly said. He added that it will include the “kind of stuff which has never been reported.”

O’Reilly also revealed that he has already done a “test interview” with Trump. He said that “it’s very direct” and that Trump “answered all the questions but one.”

O’Reilly explained:

I said to him, ‘how does it feel to be the most controversial president in the history of this country?’ He goes, ‘[O]h, I’m not the most.’ I say, ‘[Y]ou’re not? Who might that be?’ And of course, he is, but he didn’t want to really go there, but I pushed him a little bit, and I got, you know, the answer that I thought the audience would appreciate. That his whole life is a war. That people attack him every day. We have that in common. People attacked me every day. And his job, as he sees it, is to fight back.”

O’Reilly concluded by saying that the tour will be “all history, no hyperbole,” and he added that “if [Trump] doesn’t answer the question,” he’ll “very gently say, ‘Mr. President, you did not answer the question,’ and I think he will.”

“He knows me for a long time, he knows that I’m going to try to keep him on track,” O’Reilly said.

Background

The Trump History Tour is going to be a four-part event that takes place in December. Two of those events will take place in Sunrise, Florida, one will take place in Houston, Texas, and one will take place in Dallas, Texas. The dates, respectively are December 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th.

O’Reilly said on Tuesday that, so far, there has already been $7 million in ticket sales despite the fact that there has been essentially no marketing for the tour.

The events will consist of conversations between O’Reilly and Trump touching upon Trump’s presidency.

Previously, O’Reilly said, “these conversations with the 45th President will not be boring.”
