Pelosi says Trump isn’t ‘man enough’ to testify before J6 committee

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) criticized former President Donald Trump on Sunday, claiming he is not “man enough” to testify before the House committee investigating the events of Jan. 6.

Pelosi shared the searing remarks during MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” with Jonathan Capehart.

Pelosi’s words

“I don’t think he’s man enough to show up,” Pelosi said.

“No one is above the law. If we believe that, then they should make a judgment about how he responds to that request,” she added.

Trump’s response

“Trump has not said whether he will comply with the subpoena, though he has privately mused that he might comply if his testimony is broadcast live,” Business Insider reported.

“Trump could try to delay the proceedings, waiting them out until Republicans likely retake the House in November. The committee is set to dissolve along with the 117th Congress on January 3, 2023,” it added.

The battle continues on, but Trump is fully aware that some people on the panel will not be in Congress after this session.

Both Kinzinger and Cheney, the two Republicans on the committee, will both be out of office in January.

The controversy will certainly continue, but it is uncertain whether Trump will be forced to appear before the committee nearly two years after the events of Jan. 6.
