There are a number of incredibly impactful issues plaguing America right now, one of those being the exploding southern U.S. border crisis. Americans want answers from their president, but they’re not getting them.
That’s because President Joe Biden went an astonishing 50 days — before finally relenting on Thursday — without holding a press conference to address those various issues and a new Rasmussen Reports survey just revealed that a majority of American voters are officially “concerned” about it, according to Breitbart.
The survey is in
The survey asked respondents a simple question: “How concerned are you that President Biden has not held a press conference?”
Of the 1,000 likely American voters surveyed, a whopping 52 percent indicated that they are “concerned” about the 78-year-old president not holding a press conference within his first 50 days — a stretch of time that continues to shatter records.
Within the majority of voters who are concerned, 37 percent of them indicated that they’re “very concerned” In contrast, about 24 percent of voters said they’re “not very” concerned with Biden’s absence from the media and another 22 percent said that they’re “not at all” concerned about the matter.
Not surprisingly, when broken down by party, an overwhelming amount of Republican voters — at 68 percent — said they were concerned about the issue while, interestingly, 56 percent of independent voters echoed that sentiment.
In contrast, only 32 percent of Democrats revealed their concern while 64 percent of those in Biden’s party said that they are not concerned.
What about “transparency?”
For a bulk of his 2020 presidential campaign, leading up to the 2020 election, Biden promised his supporters — and all Americans regardless of party — that his administration would be a textbook example of what it means to be transparent.
The situation has even evolved to a point that left-leaning CNN personalities, like host Jake Tapper, have made sharp observations of Biden’s unwillingness or inability to hold an unscripted presser with reporters who’re extremely eager to hear Biden’s unrehearsed take on the issues of the day.
.@Kevinliptakcnn notes that an analysis of the past 100 years shows President Biden’s 15 most recent predecessors all held a formal solo press conference within 33 days of taking office. Biden has not and it’s day 42.

Many in the right-leaning media world, like Fox News host Sean Hannity, firmly believe that Biden’s seeming cognitive decline — which Hannity and others believe is becoming noticeably worse by the day — is prompting his handlers to avoid the press for as long as possible, even suggesting that they’re “buying time” for the president at this point.
Only time will tell if Biden and his administration finally get in front of this bizarre, yet concerning issue. If the president of the United States is incapable of holding something as simple as a press conference, then we have far greater concerns at hand.
