President Joe Biden’s cognitive fortitude has been called into question on a regular basis, including many who believe that he’s not truly able to execute the duties of the presidency. The results of a new poll suggest that those doubts have only grown, and it’s not only conservatives who are worried.
The Washington Examiner reported that a survey conducted last month by The Trafalgar Group found that over half — at 56.5% — of likely voters believe someone other than Biden is setting his administration’s agenda.
The feeling was strongest among Republican voters, with 83.6% saying Biden isn’t truly in charge. However, the same feeling was also echoed by 58.4% of independent voters.
Presumably surprising to many on the left, one out of three Democratic voters said that they agreed that Biden isn’t calling the shots, while another 10% couldn’t say for sure.
The poll was administered in late June, among 1,086 respondents who were identified as being “very likely” to vote in the 2022 midterm elections.
Biden continues to slip
Its findings are likely due to the bizarre and nonsensical statements Biden made during last year’s presidential campaign, a habit that he has certainly continued since taking the White House.
When answering a question last week about ongoing Russia-based cyber attacks, the president appeared to read directly from a set of notes before wandering off stage without finishing his remarks.

Americans “deserve transparency”
Mark Meckler serves as president of the Convention of States Action, and he recently told Newsmax that growing concerns regarding the president’s mental acuity can no longer be ignored.
“President Lincoln’s famous refrain that you can’t fool all of the people all of the time has never been more relevant and critical to the survival of our American republic,” Meckler said.
Meckler added: “The American people deserve transparency from the Biden administration as to the true state of the president’s mental and physical health, and leaders in both parties in Congress need to follow through on this immediately.”
