President Biden begins bizarre whispering episode during press conference

President Joe Biden’s habit of making bizarre statements was on display again this week when he alternated between whispering and shouting at reporters.

That incident was just the latest in a long string of embarrassments that Biden’s critics have pointed to as being evidence he is experiencing serious levels of cognitive decline.

“Creepy whisper”

The YouTube channel GOP War Room posted a video of the president speaking on Friday with a caption that read, “In Seattle, President Joe Biden did his creepy whisper and then suddenly started screaming, during his remarks in Seattle, Washington.”

“By the way, I made it clear to my friends up in, uh, Nantucket and that area,” Biden could be heard saying in a normal tone.

However, he then leaned towards a microphone and dropped his voice, whispering, “I don’t want to hear any more about, you know, like looking at them. They’re pretty.”

As reporters could be heard nervously laughing off camera, the president then stood up and added, “Well seriously, they’re incredible the breakthroughs they’re making.”

At that point Biden notably increased his volume, declaring, “Once you tell a nation, you can do this, go do it, it’s amazing what happens!”

More confusion

His outburst came on the same day that the president apparently confused an immigration policy with his position on mask mandates.

New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz pointed out that Biden was asked during a news conference whether his administration is planning to retain Title 42, a Trump-era border rule which allows illegal migrants to be swiftly deported.

“What I’m considering is continuing to hear from my — my — First of all, there’s gonna be an appeal by the Justice Department. Because as a matter of principle, we want to be able to be in a position where if, in fact, it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42 that we’d be able to do that. But there has been no decision on extending Title 42,” she quoted him as saying.

As Markowicz pointed out, there has been no ruling on Title 42 that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is planning to appeal.
