A controversial post is generating buzz over pitching that former President Barack Obama could run as vice president.

The question was considered in a recent report by The Palm Beach Report.

Is it possible?

The project began by asking whether the Obama vice president idea is even possible.

"The idea that Barack Obama could return to the presidency is fantasy. Barack Obama has served two terms as president," the report noted.

"Under the U.S. Constitution, he is ineligible to run for that office again. The 22nd Amendment reads in part, 'No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice,'" it continued.

"The theory being passed around is that by replacing Harris with Obama, Biden could circumvent this restriction and allow Obama to run for vice president and then assume the presidency again by Biden resigning during his second term," the commentary added.

What about Michelle?

“So up until the day before the Democratic convention, you can have a new nominee come out of nowhere. And like if Michelle Obama decides to run at the last minute, they’ll hand her the nomination and she’d have to campaign or do anything," host Bill O'Reilly said last week.

"That’s the way the system works. So it’s a first ballot if there’s no first ballot," he added.

The options have been posed as a majority of Americans in multiple polls have agreed that Biden is too old to serve a second term.

Biden is already the oldest serving president at the age of 80. At the end of a second term, he would be 86 years old.

The concerns continue to grow over Biden, leading to Democrats continuing to seek ways to bring back Obama, including adding Michelle to a potential run for office. The first lady has continued to push aside speculation but anything is possible at this point except for maybe Barack Obama returning as vice president.
