Judicial Watch reported it has received nearly 200 pages of records from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that revealed fetal heads were sought by the agency for use in projects involving humanized mice.
“The emails span 2013 to 2018, when the FDA under President Donald Trump ended its contracts with ABR,” according to The Washington Examiner.
“The Trump administration blocked federal funding for research projects using fetal tissue from elective abortions in 2019, but the National Institutes of Health reversed the restrictions in April under President Joe Biden,” it added.
More to the Story
In the Judicial Watch video, the report noted that most of the records are communications and related attachments between Perrin Larton, a procurement manager for ABR, and research veterinary medical officer Dr. Kristina Howard of the FDA.
The idea of humanized mice includes splicing undeveloped human tissue into living mice to grow human organs or cells.
Following the Money
The records revealed some of the financial aspects involved in the research. “A January 2013 invoice priced the bodies of unborn babies at $215 for the second trimester and $515 for the first trimester,” the Washington Examiner reported.
In response to the report, the FDA told the Daily Caller News Foundation last week that it has not entered into any contracts “for the purchase of human fetal tissue” since 2018.
“I’ve been doing this for 23 years. These documents we’ve gotten from the FDA and our other lawsuit…they are the worst things I’ve ever seen,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“The most troubling documents I’ve ever seen,” Fitton added.
Biden reversed Trump’s fetal tissue research ban in April.
The gruesome video and report reveals not only that human tissue is bought and sold by our government, but that one party gladly — and currently — supports it.
