New Senate report on Hunter Biden points to ‘counterintelligence and extortion concerns’

Details about Hunter Biden’s business dealings were brought into the spotlight before the presidential election, courtesy of a certain “laptop from hell.” And try as the mainstream media might, they can’t keep the controversy under wraps forever.

Even as Hunter’s father Joe Biden has been declared the election winner, new counterintelligence concerns about the Biden family were raised in a Senate report released Wednesday, Just the News reported.

New evidence of foreign ties

According to Just the News, the Senate report contains new documents from Tony Bobulinski, a former associate of Hunter Biden’s who accused Joe Biden before the election of knowing about his son’s business in China.

Bobulinski gave texts and other documents to the Senate’s Finance Committee and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which previously released a report on Hunter Biden in September. Their new report raises “counterintelligence and extortion concerns,” it says.

The report expands on Hunter Biden’s relationship with a Chinese billionaire connected with the communist party, Ye Jianming, who was chairman of the company China Energy CEFC before he mysteriously vanished in 2018, The Washington Times reports. A year before, Jianming was looking to make investments in various countries.

In a WhatsApp chat with Bobulinski, Hunter Biden said that he was acting as Jianming’s personal attorney and that they had discussed plans for CEFC to purchase a stake in Rosneft, a Russian state-owned energy firm, the report alleges.

“In an October 2017 message exchange produced to the Committees by Bobulinski, Hunter Biden told Bobulinski that although he ‘stayed out of that Russian mess,’ he ‘discussed the Roseneft [sic] deal’ with Ye personally and was familiar with the deal, including the fact that Ye was ‘pissed off…by the execution,'” the Senate report reads.

Biden family compromised?

The report also gives new details on Rob Walker, who Bobulinski previously described as a business partner in a venture between the Bidens and CEFC that went south.

Walker, who described himself as a “surrogate” for Hunter Biden’s business interests in an email to Bobulinski, received two separate $3 million transfers from a Chinese company affiliated with CEFC in 2017, the Senate report said, according to the New York Post.

“These transactions are a direct link between Walker and the communist Chinese government and, because of his close association with Hunter Biden, yet another tie between Hunter Biden’s financial arrangements and the communist Chinese government,” the Senate report states.

Despite these revelations, Joe Biden has been declared president-elect and appears on track to take over the White House in January.

If Joe Biden is “compromised” by China, as Bobulinski told Fox’s Tucker Carlson in October, it would certainly be of interest to the American people to know about it.
