President Biden’s crooked justice department will seek to cushion the Biden family’s fall in the event Hunter Biden is indicted for financial crimes, a Republican senator warned.
Ron Johnson (WI) told Fox News’ Dan Bongino that he expects a “deal” will be cut to keep an indictment against Hunter in the dark, the Washington Examiner reported.
Republican’s warning about Hunter Biden
Before the 2020 election, the media sought to bury news reports about Hunter Biden’s international business deals by falsely claiming the story was “Russian disinformation.” The FBI and DOJ were apparently on the same page.
Whistleblowers have reported to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Johnson’s partner in the GOP’s Hunter Biden probe, that the FBI and DOJ sought to discredit legitimate information against Hunter as “disinformation.”
At the time, 51 intelligence officials were publicly bolstering the Russian disinformation talking point, which was used by Democrats — including then-candidate Biden — to dismiss the New York Post’s reporting about Hunter’s laptop.
While there is rampant speculation that Hunter could soon be indicted, Johnson is skeptical the president’s son will be treated like just any defendant.
“They may indict Hunter Biden, but they’ll probably seal — they’ll do a deal — they’ll seal all the information. The American public will never get the full truth,” he said.
FBI protecting Biden
Johnson said he is not surprised to discover the FBI is protecting Biden after the agency’s misconduct was exposed in the Trump-Russia hoax, calling the organization “thoroughly corrupt.”
In a separate interview with Fox & Friends Weekend, Johnson recalled that the FBI first took possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop in late 2019.
“They certainly saw the evidence of what I think is criminal activity on that laptop. They’ve done nothing. Here we are in the end of July, early August 2022. What have they done with it? No, you can’t trust this Department of Justice, the FBI, to get to the bottom of this,” Johnson said.
The FBI raided the home of a journalist last year in connection with the stolen diary of Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley, who described having inappropriate showers with her dad.
President Biden has long been accused of exploiting his political connections to profit his family. While Biden has denied any knowledge of his son’s business deals, he met with his son’s foreign business partners on numerous occasions and even reassured his son over voicemail that he was “clear.”
