Ron DeSantis flies two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has confirmed he has sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

DeSantis had warned progressive states about the flights and has now followed through with his first of what could be many flights to sanctuary cities.

Flights confirmed

“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” the governor’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital.

“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” she added.

A political move?

The move comes after the state approved budgeted funds for such relocation activities.

The flights also come just weeks ahead of the 2022 election for the governor of Florida. DeSantis currently has a strong lead over Democratic nominee Charlie Crist.

While progressives and the Biden administration are blasting the effort, many Americans are thrilled to see DeSantis give the left a taste of its own medicine.

The nation will continue the controversy over moving migrants around the nation, but the real need is to deal with the border crisis that is allowing far too many people into the nation without proper vetting.
