“Duck Dynasty” star and motivational speaker Sadie Robertson, 24, announced that she has been diagnosed with the flu and COVID-19.
According to Fox News, the reality television star said that she is “exhausted” in an Instagram post that showed a video of her husband, Christian Huff holding their daughter, Honey.
“It started off by me getting FLURONA (flu + covid) (yikes) so obviously I was so bummed to miss passion,” Robertson said, referencing a yearly event she typically attends.
Robertson went on to say that she is “so thankful that God gave me the strength to still preach my message to an empty room despite being so sick,” she captioned the video, saying that her “faith from that experience grew so much.”
This isn’t the only issue that Robertson has been dealing with as she has announced on social media. According to her posts, she is also dealing with an infestation in her home:
“Then as we were on our way home from ATL we got a call that we have a couple of rats invading our home and those little guys are doing some workkk,” she added.
“So we couldn’t go home. It’s day 4 of not being able to get them and being out of our house. It’s disgusting.”
Robertson isn’t new to the world of coronavirus as the former reality star tested positive for COVID-19 while she was expecting her daughter, saying it was “the hardest thing” to deal with while pregnant.
“Seriously, my heart goes out to every single pregnant person with COVID and everybody with COVID,” Robertson told People magazine about her experience.
“They were telling me at the hospital, they were like, ‘Man, people have to deliver with it.’ I can’t even imagine.”
According to Fox News, Robertson and Huff welcomed their daughter on May 11, which she announced on Instagram with a sweet photo of their new arrival:
“[W]e saw a million little miracles yesterday – the best one being this girl right here … Honey,” Robertson Huff captioned the photo at the time.
