Bernie Sanders gets slapped by Elon Musk: ‘I keep forgetting that you’re still alive’

Elon Musk can’t get enough of trolling Democrats on Twitter.

According to Fox Business, the Tesla CEO and world’s wealthiest man responded to a recent tweet from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders with a brutal takedown, saying he “keeps forgetting” that the aging socialist is still alive.

“I keep forgetting”

Sanders, who is a millionaire, is pretty wealthy as far as socialists go, but that hasn’t stopped him from roleplaying as an ally of the working-class.

The Democrat, who is 80, is keeping up his “make the wealthy pay” act long after his political star seems to have waned, as Musk reminded his Twitter following. “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” Musk tweeted Sunday.

The Tesla mogul, who reportedly has a net worth of nearly $300 billion, was responding to a tweet from Sanders that read, “We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.”

The billionaire’s fortune has made him a target of Democrats advocating wealth redistribution, a role that Musk seems to have relished.

Musk recently asked his Twitter following whether he should sell off 10% of his Tesla stock in response to proposals from Democrats to tax unrealized capital gains.

Musk trolls fake revolutionary

When Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden (OR) responded by calling for a “Billionaires Income Tax,” Musk replied with a crude joke.

In his more recent exchange with Sanders, he teased, “Want me to sell more stock, Bernie? Just say the word …”

Sanders survived a heart attack during his 2020 primary bid, which fell apart when the Democratic Party machine coalesced behind corrupt regime puppet Joe Biden. Clearly, the senator is sticking to familiar themes as he turns to dutifully shilling for the Biden regime and its radical “Build Back Better” agenda.

He tweeted recently, “Poll after poll says that the Build Back Better Act is enormously popular with an overwhelming majority of the American people.” Actually, polls show that voters are skeptical of “Build Back Better,” and mostly don’t know what’s in it.

Many probably don’t realize that it entails raising taxes on 30% of middle class families. So much for making the rich “pay their fair share.” Could Bernie be more of a fraud?
