A second laptop said to belong to Hunter Biden, son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, was seized in February during a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) raid on a psychiatrist’s office in Massachusetts, according to a report by NBC News.
The revelation came at the tail end of a lengthy article by NBC News, almost as if it were an afterthought.
Second laptop seized by feds
Indeed, it was not until the 48th paragraph of a 50-paragraph story that NBC made mention of the device. The story, for all intents and purposes, sought to muddy the waters and provide excuses for why the mainstream media has all but ignored a pertinent story about potential corruption and influence-peddling involving Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s family.
According to NBC, two sources “familiar with the matter” said that the second laptop belonging to Hunter was seized by the DEA during a raid on the office of a psychiatrist accused of professional misconduct.
However, the psychiatrist was never charged, Hunter was said to have not been a target of that investigation, and the laptop was eventually returned to Hunter’s attorney.
Why was Hunter’s laptop in the psychiatrist’s office?
The Washington Examiner, picking up on the crumbs at the end of the NBC article, reported that the psychiatrist mentioned in that story was former celebrity Dr. Keith Ablow, who had his license suspended after being accused of sexually exploiting some of his patients and of illicitly diverting prescription drugs from their intended purposes.
It was further noted that Ablow has denied those allegations against him and has not faced any criminal charges in the matter.
As to why Hunter Biden’s laptop was in Ablow’s Boston office in the first place is a question that both the Examiner and NBC had no answer for. Whether that question will be posed to the Biden campaign by anyone in the media is also unclear.
The Examiner noted that Hunter Biden’s attorney declined to respond to queries, as did the DEA.
The revelation follows the discovery of a laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden that was abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware last year, as reported by The New York Post.
Emails and documents found on that laptop, which was taken into FBI custody in the fall of 2019, reveal details of Hunter Biden’s international business dealings and suggest links to his father, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who was the U.S. vice president at the time.
A DOJ official said there is an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering and other potential crimes committed by “Hunter Biden and his associates” that began in 2019, Sinclair Broadcasting reporter James Rosen reported Thursday.
