Secret Service claims to have no record of who visited Biden at his Delaware homes

According to the New York Post, President Biden spent approximately one out of every four days of his year in office at his two Delaware homes.

Yet in a move that some will no doubt see as suspicious, the Secret Service told the Post that it has no record of who was visiting him there.

Conservative watchdog groups say Secret Service is “playing a shell game”

That answer came after the paper requested to see visitor logs under the Freedom of Information Act. Logs from the Obama White House show that a close business associate of Hunter Biden had a 2010 meeting in the West Wing with then Vice President Joe Biden in 2010.

Tom Fitton serves as president of the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, and he said the evidence suggests that the Secret Service is working to protect Biden from scrutiny.

“Obviously the Secret Service knows and tracks who is visiting President Biden at his homes in Delaware and they are playing a shell game with the public to keep that information secret,” the Post quoted Fitton as saying.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Secret Service agents have been accused of doing favors for the Biden family.  Last year, Politico cited sources as saying that the law enforcement agency “inserted itself” into an incident in which Hunter Biden is alleged to have illegally purchased a firearm.

Politico; Biden lied on the gun purchase form

The website acquired copies of a receipt and a Firearms Transaction Record from a Delaware gun store where Biden bought a handgun in 2018.

Significantly, the president’s son answered “no” when asked on the form if he was “an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?”

The younger Biden has had a well-publicized struggle with drug addiction, a fact that he openly discussed in his 2021 autobiography, and lying on the form is a federal offense.

Hunter Biden’s firearm was ultimately discovered in a supermarket trashcan after it was put there by his sister-in-law, with whom he was having a romantic relationship.

Politico reported that the gun store owner, Ron Palmieri, was subsequently approached by Secret Service agents who demanded that he turn over records of Biden’s purchase, a demand that Palmieri refused.

According to the website, a Secret Service spokesperson claimed to have no knowledge of the incident and that there is no record of agents being involved.
