Seven passengers, two crew members dead
The crash occurred on Wednesday in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, as the plane was headed toward Miami, Florida. Authorities say seven passengers and two crew members died.
Helidosa Aviation Group, which operated the jet, provided a statement confirming that it is working to uncover details about the deadly crash.
In addition to the Flow La Movie, whose real name is Jose Angel Hernandez, the passenger list included Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, Keilyan Hernandez Pena, Jayden Hernandez, Yeilianys Jeishlimar Melendez, and Jassiel Yabdiel Silva, Veronica Estrella.

As The New York Times explained, the Gulfstream jet crashed just minutes after it took off on Wednesday evening from El Higuero airport as the pilot tried to initiate an emergency landing at Las Americas International Airport. Videos posted on social media provided a glimpse of the heavy smoke rising up from the site of the crash.

Public figures and fans in both the Dominican Republic and America took to social media to express their condolences.
Former Dominican Republic Vice President Margarita Cedeno tweeted her condolences to the loved ones of all those who died.
Translated from Spanish, she wrote: “I join in the grief of the relatives of the crew and passengers of the fallen flight near Las Americas. Peace to their souls and strength to the family.”
For its part, Helidosa confirmed that the incident has led to “great pain and regret,” noting that while the crash remains under investigation, the company is currently requesting “solidarity to support the affected families who, together with us, are going through this very difficult time.”
