George Soros is spending big to help Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and the Democrats win battleground states.
The progressive activist-billionaire is spending millions of dollars to help the Dems win over women voters in Michigan, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Biden needs women voters
As Trump appears to close gaps in battleground states like Michigan, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, Soros is spending millions to mobilize women in those states through Supermajority, a progressive women’s group founded in 2019 by members of abortion giant Planned Parenthood and leftist activist group Black Lives Matter.
Through Democracy PAC, Soros donated $2 million to the group, providing almost all of its funding this year as it looks to drop $10 million on ad buys in those key battlegrounds.
The group will launch a “get out the vote” drive with a September 26 virtual event hosted by actress Eva Longoria, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Hillary Clinton, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and other public figures, called “Supercharge: Women All In.”
“We know women have an outsized role in this election, [and] we’re harnessing our electoral power,” said Juanita Tolliver, political director of Supermajority. “That’s why we’re making this heavy investment in not only mobilizing but organizing and educating women.”
Soros heavily invested
Soros has made no secret of how heavily invested he is — financially and emotionally — in the outcome of the 2020 election.
The billionaire has said the election could determine the “fate of the world,” and he has donated some $50 million through Democracy PAC to support various Democratic efforts this November, according to the Beacon.
President Trump, meanwhile, has sought to win support from suburban voters he has lost since 2016, including women, by warning that urban riots will spread to the suburbs. “If Biden gets in, this violence is ‘coming to the Suburbs’, and FAST. You could say goodbye to your American Dream!” Trump tweeted Tuesday.
Suburban voters are pouring into the Republican Party because of the violence in Democrat run cities and states. If Biden gets in, this violence is “coming to the Suburbs”, and FAST. You could say goodbye to your American Dream!

Despite Soros’ efforts, a Politico report finds that Trump’s emphasis on law and order may be working. A Democratic strategist found that a focus group of suburban white women with college degrees was getting “really sick of ” riots.
