A series of checkpoints have been added by the Taliban to block access to those seeking to flee from the nation through the Kabul airport in Afghanistan.
USA Today showed a video featuring some of the chaos outside of the Kabul airport.

Pentagon reporter Jeff Schogol added a tweet stating, “An Afghan man sent me this video which he said was raked outside Kabul airport today. How are Americans and Afghans supposed to get through this?”

The paperwork is also a frustrating situation for those trying to flee the nation.
I have been trying to help an Afghan interpreter in danger of being killed get to safety and the State Department just told him he needs to submit a letter from his HR department! How is this accelerating the application process? @ABlinken @JakeSullivan46

No Way Out
Daily Mail UK also reported, “An Afghan-Australian trying to leave the country also told ABC it is ‘not possible’ to get to the airport because there is ‘lots of firing’ and ‘too many people’ while Max Sangeen, a Canadian interpreter, said his wife and children – including a 20-day-old baby – are trapped in Kabul despite having the correct documents.”
The only other means of leaving the nation is through crossing the border. However, many of the roads leaving Afghanistan are also guarded, leaving no way out.
Even those leaving through the border face difficult encounters in the neighboring nations that are often hostile toward westerners. The situation is leaving many with no way out, which is an unacceptable situation for Americans abandoned by their commander-in-chief.
The Biden administration has now reportedly sent 6,000 troops to coordinate rescue efforts. However, the help may be too little and too late, as roadblocks and violence are already taking place.
Leaving the nation was widely supported by Americans. The way the Biden administration left has turned the nation against the president, angering many across the nation.
