The fallout from President Joe Biden’s humiliating, botched attempt to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan continues to worsen for an already vulnerable administration.
According to Fox News, it was confirmed on Tuesday, after rampant speculation, that Taliban forces are in possession of what the White House called a “fair amount” of U.S. military equipment and weapons.
Clearly, one doesn’t need to be a military analyst to deduce that the Taliban have a significant battlefield advantage with their growing bounty of cutting-edge U.S. military equipment.

Biden admin clueless
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan didn’t do the Biden administration any favors during a presser on Tuesday when he was questioned about what will happen to the billions of dollars of military equipment provided to the Afghan military prior to the Americans leaving the country.
“We don’t have a complete picture, obviously, of where every article of defense materials has gone,” Sullivan admitted.
He added: “But certainly, a fair amount of it has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, and, obviously, we don’t have a sense that they are going to readily hand it over to us at the airport.”
Sullivan pivoted to echoing his boss in blaming the Afghan military for failing to stand up and fight to keep the Taliban at bay but admitted that the Taliban’s march to recapture the country “unfolded at unexpected speed.”
“He thought the Afghan national security forces could step up and fight because we spent 20 years, tens of billions of dollars, training them, giving them the best equipment, giving them support of U.S. forces for 20 years,” Sullivan said.
Many have criticized the Biden administration for creating a situation in which Taliban forces were able to capture untold billions worth of abandoned U.S. military equipment, with some, like Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) warning that it’s a massive jumpstart for future terrorist cells that will undoubtedly take up residence in the country.
Waltz said during a Fox News interview that the Taliban now “have access to massive caches of heavy weaponry, artillery, armored vehicles, ammunition,” adding that he believes the situation in Afghanistan will now bloom into something even more threatening than prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks on America.
Biden better pray that the day doesn’t come when it’s revealed that Taliban or associated terrorist groups end up using abandoned U.S. military equipment against America or its allies, as that will be quite a difficult situation to lie his way out of.
