Biden admin to clear entry for Afghan refugees who worked for Taliban ‘under duress’: Report

President Joe Biden has told Americans that the thousands of largely unvetted refugees coming into the country from Afghanistan are allies who fought with the United States against the Taliban. But since everything is backward in Biden’s America, it’s hardly a surprise that some of these “refugees” are, in fact, people with links to the terror group.

According to an exclusive report from Fox News, the Biden administration is clearing entry for refugees who worked as civil servants for the Taliban prior to the U.S. invasion in 2001.

Supposed to be banned?

People with links to terrorism are supposed to be blocked from entering the United States, but there are exemptions, such as when a person supports a terrorist group under duress.

The Biden administration’s memo offers an exemption to civil servants who worked for the Taliban from 1996 to 2001, saying many of them worked “under duress or other situations of hardship,” according to Fox.

“Some of these civil servants later worked for or helped the International Security Assistance Force, the U.S. government or the Afghan government that was established in Dec. 22, 2001,” the memo reportedly adds.

The policy was initially drafted at the end of the Obama administration, Fox reported. The Biden administration is implementing it after a Taliban coup ended America’s 20-year occupation of Afghanistan, sending Americans and desperate Afghans scrambling to get out.

An administration official claimed that the migrants must still be rigorously screened, and described the policy as protecting innocent people who pose no threat, like doctors and teachers, from being “automatically” barred from entering the U.S.

Biden’s reckless refugee policy

This is just the latest stunner to come out of Biden’s reckless refugee program, which — since America wasn’t unstable enough, apparently — will open America’s borders to nearly 100,000 Afghans by the end of the year, according to Fox.

A recent poll found that Americans support bringing in refugees who supported America against the Taliban. Too bad that isn’t what is happening.

Now that the clamor over Biden’s Afghanistan debacle has died down, the Biden administration has been kind enough to inform the public that just 3% of 60,000 Afghans who fled Afghanistan were Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, as the New York Post notes.

A refugee at Fort McCoy has been charged with sexually assaulting a child, Fox reports, and a female service member was reportedly assaulted by a group of Afghan men at Fort Bliss.

Despite all this, Biden recently signed more than $6 billion in funding to resettle and provide green cards for Afghan refugees as part of a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown. Is this all we have to show for 20 years of blood and treasure?
