President Joe Biden, amid a growing mountain of scandals, could be in for a rough year after his sexual assault accuser, Tara Reade, dropped a bombshell during an interview with conservative podcaster Benny Johnson of "The Benny Show."

During the interview, Reade explained after her allegations against Biden were made public, he would consistently lie about his involvement with her.

However, Reade dropped a major hint regarding an upcoming visit she will make to Capitol Hil to talk with Republican lawmakers about her allegation against Biden.

"I did reach out and say I wanted to go under oath— that I would testify in Congress. I have received a response. We are going to meet. And there is a possibility there will be an investigation into Joe Biden. And I will go under oath and I will testify," Reade said.

According to Newsweek, Reade was invited to speak on Capitol Hill by Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) and Matt Gaetz (FL).

The two GOP lawmakers reportedly said they would allow her to give a transcribed interview regarding the sexual assault claims she made several years ago -- claims that were largely ignored by a vast majority of the mainstream media.

Tara Reade is a former Senate aide who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993. Reade first made the allegation in March 2020, during Biden's campaign for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

She claimed that Biden touched her inappropriately and penetrated her with his fingers without her consent in a hallway on Capitol Hill. Biden has vehemently denied the allegation, and an investigation by the New York Times found no evidence to support Reade's claim. Big surprise there.

The accusations have raised questions about the treatment of women who report sexual assault and harassment, particularly in political contexts. Reade has faced scrutiny and criticism from some media outlets and political commentators, who have questioned her credibility and motives. Others have praised her for coming forward with her story and speaking out about what she experienced.

The controversy surrounding Reade's claims has contributed to ongoing discussions about the need for accountability and transparency.

It's staggering to think that Reade, a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by then-Sen. Biden, received almost no attention but an alleged hush-money payment, which isn't even illegal, to a woman by Donald Trump before he was even president could land him an indictment.

The double standard at play, thanks mostly to the Democrat-controlled media establishment, is obvious and vomit-inducing.

Hopefully, Reade's interview on Capitol Hill will bring renewed attention to her case, with a real, congressional-led investigation to follow.
