Former President Donald Trump went after the Democratic Party during a rally in Michigan on Saturday, claiming it’s “waging a war” on women, children, and science.
“With their extremist sex and gender ideology, the Democrat Party is waging war on reality, war on science, war on children, war on women,” Trump said.
The Biden administration has come out in full support of the transgender community, including medical procedures for minor children to change their bodies at their request.
Last week, the administration celebrated a Transgender Day of Visibility and declared support for “top” and “bottom” surgeries as well as hormonal and other therapies.
“I have your back”
Biden tweeted, “To transgender Americans of all ages, I want you to know that you are so brave. You belong. I have your back.”

“Affirming your child’s identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe and healthy,” Biden said, despite the fact that at least 80% of children who at one time identify as a different gender than their biological one revert back by the time they are adults.
“Can you imagine”
Trump questioned such policies during the rally, suggesting that children who change their bodies at a young age may later regret doing so.
“Who the hell would have even believed that we’d be talking about this stuff?” Trump said.
“Can you imagine a child and then they grow up and they say ‘why the hell did you do that to me mom or dad or government?’” he added.
Trump said Republicans in Congress needed “to stand up for parental rights” on issues like gender identity and critical race theory, which he banned from schools while in office but Biden reversed.
Trump added that the “Republican Party is now the party of American women and American children, and we will protect women in sports.”
