Trump calls for former aide Alyssa Farah Griffin to be fired from ‘The View’

Many former allies of President Trump have turned on him, but few have made as a dramatic transformation as The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin.

In a scathing social media post, Trump called on ABC to fire his former communications director, saying she is a “fraud” who lied to get her current job.

Trump goes after former aide

In the Truth Social post, Trump shared a resignation statement Farah Griffin made in December 2020 calling her work in the Trump administration “the honor of a lifetime.”

Trump accused his former aide of having “misrepresented her true feelings about me” to get her current posts at “ratings disaster” CNN and “low IQ” liberal daytime gossip fest The View.

“Alyssa Farah totally misrepresented her true feelings about me and the Trump Administration in order to get her job at ratings disaster CNN, and a seat with the low IQ people at The View,” Trump wrote.

“Look at what she said about me, and that doesn’t include the beautiful letter she sent and other statements she made. They should fire her for misrepresentation or fraud. Release the letter, Alyssa!”

Token conservative?

Since leaving the Trump administration, Farah Griffin has rebranded as a go-to Trump critic and token conservative, a role formerly played on The View by Meghan McCain.

Farah Griffin pushed back on skepticism of her motives earlier this year, telling National Review that her principles remain the same.

“I reject the premise that my fundamental views have changed. But I’m fiercely anti insurrection,” she said.

In some of her recent barbs, Farah Griffin has called Trump a “despicable” racist.

“He’s [Trump] not even trying to hide the racism at this point. Just despicable,” she tweeted.
