Former President Donald Trump is notorious for taking a no-holds barred approach when it comes to his political rivals.
Yet, in what Business Insider called “a rare moment of goodwill,” Trump expressed concern after his successor fell off a stationary bicycle.
“I hope he’s okay”
According to Insider contributor Alia Shoaib, Trump’s comments came as he spoke with supporters in Memphis on Saturday during his American Freedom Tour.

“I hope he has recovered because, as you know, he fell off his bicycle today,” Trump declared. “No, I’m serious. I hope he’s okay. He fell off a bicycle.”
The former president then received laughter when he joked, “I make this pledge to you today: I will never ever ride a bicycle.”
Trump went on to again express concern for his successor saying, “But no, we do hope that Biden’s okay because that was a hard fall, that was scary. That was a hard [fall.] Did anybody see it? Well, we wish him well in that respect.”
However, he then drew an unfavorable contrast between himself and Biden, saying, “When I was president, we didn’t blame Putin for every problem, we just got the job done.”
Biden hops up and down
Fox News reported that following the president’s bicycle mishap on Saturday, the White House issued a statement stressing how the soon-to-be 80-year-old was all right.
“The President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed,” a White House official said. “The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
Fox News noted that upon leaving a church service the following day, Biden was subsequently questioned by a reporter the next day about the incident. In response, the president began to hop up and down to prove there were no lasting injuries.
