Trump savagely mocks Hunter Biden’s new artist career, suggests he’ll sell paintings, too

It has been said that biting humor is the best weapon against the self-serious ideological left, and former President Donald Trump has long been a master at using mockery and sarcasm to humorously troll his political enemies and rivals.

That was clearly on display in a scathing recent statement from the former president that torched and tied together the biased and corrupt FBI and Justice Department with the ethically dubious “art sales” of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and suggested he might soon become an artist himself,  PJ Media reported.

The statement specifically targeted fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, along with disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page, before turning attention to Hunter Biden and the questionable sales of his so-called artwork for insanely inflated prices.

“Terrible” settlement

“Isn’t it terrible that all of Andrew McCabe’s benefits, pensions, salary, etc., were just fully reinstated by the Justice Department? This is yet another mockery to our Country,” Trump said in the statement released Friday through his Save America PAC.

That remark was in reference to a reported settlement of a lawsuit announced Thursday by the Justice Department in which McCabe’s full slate of government retirement benefits had been restored.

The anti-Trump McCabe, who had been fired for unauthorized leaks to the media, was terminated in 2018 just one day prior to when he would have been fully vested in those retirement benefits.

“Among other things, McCabe’s wife received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Hillary Clinton and the Democrats while Crooked Hillary was under investigation, which was quickly dropped, of course,” Trump continued. “What a bad chapter this has been for the once storied FBI — I hate to see it happening, so many GREAT people work there.”

Watch out Hunter

The former president then let loose with a classic example of his cutting humor that linked the corrupt FBI with the notoriously unethical situation involving Hunter Biden’s alleged new “career” as an artist and the pertinent but studiously unanswered questions regarding the likelihood of people purchasing the artwork as a way to gain influence over the Biden White House.

“Next thing you know the two lovers, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, will be getting awards for what they did, and Hunter Biden will be given a clean bill of health on everything done by him, with everyone to receive as payment a beautiful Hunter Biden inspired painting selling at your local art gallery for $500,000,” Trump said.

“While I have never painted before, Hunter has inspired me to immediately begin painting because I’ve always felt I have a talent at that, and could surely get at least $2 million dollars per canvas — and probably a lot more. I will begin immediately,” he added. “Our Country is crooked as hell!”

Classic Trump

This statement from Trump is as viciously troll-tastic as any of his “mean tweets” ever were — before he was summarily banished from the online world by virtually all of the major social media platforms following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Those within the anti-Trump brigade, be they on the left or right, take themselves far too serious and insist on portraying themselves as righteous and virtuous defenders of democracy — none of which is true and all of which can be undermined with the savage mockery employed by Trump that is well-deserved.
