Trump probe could lead to multiple crime charges related to declassified docs

Former President Donald Trump could face crimes regarding documents found during an FBI raid at his Mar-a-Lago home last week.

The New York Times reported on Saturday that the signed statement by the Department of Justice focused on classified material Trump claimed had been returned to the federal government.

The concern

“Federal investigators recovered at least 4 sets of top secret documents, 3 sets of secret documents, and 3 sets of confidential documents during their search, which U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized,” The Daily Wire said regarding the report.

“The signed declaration, combined with the at least 11 sets of classified documents that were discovered on the property, could mean that either Trump or his legal team potentially lied to federal investigators,” it added.

Conservatives blast the raid

Conservative leaders have blasted the politicized FBI raid, including Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis pointed out that the FBI didn’t raid Hillary Clinton’s home when her campaign was investigated regarding spying on the Trump campaign and creating a fake Russian bank story.

Others have pointed out far more serious concerns related to national security related to First Son Hunter Biden or California Rep. Eric Swalwell.

The frustrating efforts by the left to take down Trump could backfire as the nation sees the need to “drain the swamp” by voting against Democrats in November.
