Trump Steals The Show In Iowa

August 15, 2023

Ron DeSantis recently traveled to Iowa hoping to reverse what has been a disastrous recent few months for his 2024 presidential campaign.

It didn't work.

Florida's governor got heckled.

Ron DeSantis was being interviewed by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, when the crowd started to interrupt.

Chants of "Trump! Trump! Trump!" broke out throughout the crowd.

It got so bad and interrupted what DeSantis was saying so much that Reynolds actually had to scold the crowd for not letting Ron DeSantis talk.

Not only did Donald Trump show up via proxy during Ron DeSantis' time on the stage, the crowd went absolutely bonkers when Trump showed up in person.

He made a grand entrance, buzzing the fairgrounds with his jet before walking in and drawing a large crowd.

Almost immediately, Trump started complaining about America's Democrats joining forces with crooked news sources and conspiring to harm America.

"You know, they should really try and get this country back together," Trump said.

"What they’ve done to this country by weaponization. They are destroying this country and the media is a very big part of it."

Despite the tongue-lashing DeSantis was taking from the audience, he stuck to his guns.

DeSantis criticized Trump for refusing to sign the GOP pledge and for engaging in a feud with Kim Reynolds.

"That’s just how he operates, to attack one of the best governors in the country," DeSantis said. "I think as Republicans we should be thankful and proud to see other Republicans doing well."

Trump either did not recall the attack that DeSantis was referring to or simply didn't want to talk about it.

"I have a very nice relationship with her," Trump said of Reynolds. "I got her elected."

To be fair though, Trump does think that every single Republican to ever take office is there because of him.

His losses? Like when he endorsed Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania? He doesn't take responsibility for those. In fact, that particular incident was blamed on his wife.

Who's side are you on in this situation? Ron DeSantis' or Donald Trump's?
