Trump takes aim at ‘disgusting’ Fetterman, a ‘raging lunatic’ who wants to defund police

Let’s all be honest here — Democratic Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman is weird. And kinda scary.

That was not lost on former President Donald Trump on Saturday night during his massive Pennsylvania rally. According to the Washington Examiner, Trump, who was there to back Republican PA candidates, including Dr. Mehmet Oz, had the entire rally crowd bursting with laughter when he trained his criticism on Fetterman.

Trump, a sharp-dressed man at all times, took aim at Fetterman for wearing sloppy-looking, oversized hoodies on the campaign trail, saying he looks “like a teenager getting high in his parents basement.”

The former president’s rally was held in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and the matchup between the two candidates is said to be a battleground situation.

“Raging lunatic”

Trump held nothing back as he unleashed on Fetterman, going further than criticizing the man’s wardrobe.

“This guy’s a disaster,” Trump said of Fetterman. “He comes in with a sweatsuit on. I’ve never seen him wear a suit. A dirty, dirty, dirty sweatsuit, it’s really disgusting. You know, I’m a clean freak. I’m a clean freak, Oz — I don’t like those dirty sweatsuits, that disgusting.”

Trump added: “Fetterman may dress like a teenager getting high in his parents basement, but he’s a raging lunatic hell-bent on springing hardened criminals out of jail in the middle of the worst crime wave in Pennsylvania history.”

“He wants everybody out of jail. And by the way, he wants to get rid of your police,” Trump continued.

Doubling down

Trump’s criticism of Oz’s Democratic opponent didn’t stop there. The former president took aim at Fetterman’s comments on launching free-use drug dens across Pennsylvania.

“Fetterman supports taxpayer-funded drug dens and the complete decriminalization of illegal drugs including heroin, cocaine, crystal meth, and ultra lethal fentanyl — and, by the way, he takes them himself — which would mean death and despair for every community in Pennsylvania and every community in the United States of America,” Trump said.

Most observers are confident that the good, hard-working people of PA will not stand for someone like Fetterman, and instead elect a leader who wants to get tough on crime and drugs, instead.
