Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for her fumbling answers to interview questions about visiting the nation’s southern border.
During an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, Harris said, “At some point, you know, we are going to the border. We’ve been to the border. So this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”

“You haven’t been to the border,” Holt replied.
“And I haven’t been to Europe,” Harris fumed. “And I mean, I don’t understand the point that you’re making.”
Carlson picked up on the vice president’s, “I don’t understand,” response with his own commentary.
“Of course, she doesn’t understand the point. No one ever asks her real questions. When was the last time that happened,” Carlson said.
“Harris has continued to ascend,” he added.
Later in the interview with Holt, he said that Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) has urged the administration to visit his border district in south Texas, with no success in convincing Harris to visit.
“I care about what’s happening at the border,” Harris said. “I’m in Guatemala because my focus is dealing with the root causes of migration.”
The vice president added, “There may be some who think that that is not important, but it is my firm belief that if we care about what’s happening at the border, we better care about the root causes and address them. And so that’s what I’m doing.”
Harris may believe she’s helping with immigration by visiting other nations, but she fails to recognize what matters most is how she handles the immigration issue in her own country.
The problems are only going to build for Harris if she continues to avoid the hard facts that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants have entered the nation during the Biden administration.
Worse, the nation could stop the flow overnight by simply changing policies. But that might require admitting some things Trump did were right. And that could be too much to bear for the Biden administration.
