Tucker Carlson warns of Biden’s prediction that unrest will continue if Trump is re-elected: ‘It’s a threat’

A speech by Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden on Monday prompted Fox News host Tucker Carlson to issue a warning to viewers: “You think Biden voters are dangerous now? Wait until see them in [President Donald] Trump’s second term.”

According to Breitbart, Carlson’s remarks came on Monday night’s episode of his self-named Fox News show, during which the anchor responded to a speech Biden gave in Pittsburgh earlier that day. The former vice president had — finally — condemned violence and riots that have been sweeping the country since the death of George Floyd on Memorial Day.

“It’s a threat”

According to a transcript provided by Rev, Biden alleged in his Monday address that Trump had “long ago forfeited any moral leadership in this country. “He can’t stop the violence because for years he’s fomented it,” Biden said. “He may believe mouthing the words law and order makes him strong. But his failure to call on his own supporters to stop acting as an armed militia in this country shows how weak he is.”

The former vice president added: “Does anyone believe there’ll be less violence in America if Donald Trump is re-elected?

It was that line in particular that Carlson took issue with. “Oh, you think there’ll be less violence if he is re-elected? Got it,” the Fox host said, according to Breitbart. “It is a nice country you have here. It would be a shame if something were to happen to it.”

Carlson went on: “That’s not an observation, obviously. It’s a threat. And it wasn’t a mistake either. It’s not a line he just blurted out. That line was in Biden’s prepared remarks. His campaign tweeted it out later. They were proud of it.

“This is the official message of the Biden campaign,” Carlson said, as Breitbart reported. “If you dare re-elect Donald Trump, prepare for more rioting… Vote for me or my people will keep blocking traffic and setting fires and hurting people.”

“Thoroughly dishonest”

The Fox host conceded that Biden and his fellow Dems will “never put it quite that way, of course. But the threat of violence is implied in everything they do,” he said, according to Breitbart.

Earlier in his monologue, Carlson said Biden’s Monday speech was perhaps “the most thoroughly dishonest speech ever given by an American presidential candidate.”

“Virtually every word if it was the opposite of the truth. It was literally beyond belief,” he said, according to Breitbart.

“For three months, Joe Biden’s voters have trashed our country. They have looted our cities, burned buildings, beaten and killed dozens of people,” Carlson added. “For three months, Joe Biden and his advisers have done their best to ignore it all and pretend it wasn’t happening.”

Now, it seems Biden is trying to make up for lost time — but it remains to be seen whether voters are buying his reversal.
