For years, troubling questions have been raised concerning the ties between former President Bill Clinton and the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. However, a new report suggests that those ties ran even deeper than previously known.
According to journalist Vicky Ward, Clinton reportedly took previously undisclosed trips with Epstein and alleged human trafficker accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell aboard the infamous plane nicknamed the “Lolita Express,” the Daily Mail reported.
Fox News reported in 2016 that Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) flight records show that Clinton was a passenger for at least 26 trips aboard Epstein’s private plane.
The former president also traveled with Maxwell and billionaire Ron Burkle to India on one of Burkle’s planes in 2003. The Daily Mail reported that Ward revealed the bombshell information this week during her podcast, Chasing Ghislaine.
“Remember, Clinton’s post-presidency was an exciting, very attractive place to be,” Ward explained. “He and an entourage went on fascinating trips to Europe, to Asia, to Africa and he met with extremely interesting people.”
“Now, records I’ve seen recently show that in 2003, Ghislaine visited the Taj Mahal with Bill Clinton and a group of around 20 others,” Ward said.
Ward added: “This trip has not previously been reported. Jeffrey wasn’t on it. And that was key in cementing Ghislaine’s rise as a VIP in her own right in Clinton World, according to sources close to Bill Clinton.”
“She was very excited”
British journalist Christopher Mason told Ward during the podcast: “She was always, you know, on her way to something, to see someone of extraordinary importance. She was very excited by what she was about to do.”
“And she told me that she was off to see Bill Clinton, and that-that seemed to be a leitlight motif in her conversation for quite a long time,” Mason added.
The Daily Mail noted that a November 2003 report from Kaiser Health News referenced a visit by Clinton to India, where he is said to have expressed support for the manufacture of low-cost drugs used in treating HIV.
What’s more, a Clinton Foundation press release from 2006 also touted a trip to India by the former president in which he toured a pharmaceutical factory.
Maxwell is currently being held in federal custody and will soon face multiple charges stemming from allegations that she recruited minors for Epstein to abuse. Fox News reported in April that her requests for bail have been denied.
