Hunter Biden has caused controversy for himself and his family in recent months by engaging in art sales that some say could create the potential for influence-peddling. Now, however, Biden has just found himself embroiled in yet another scandal — and this time, it once again involves his infamous laptop.
According to the Daily Wire, a video has reportedly been found on the device that shows Hunter Biden telling an unidentified woman that he feared being blackmailed after another laptop of his was stolen.
First published by the Daily Mail, the footage, which has not been independently verified, is said to date back to 2019 and appears to show Hunter Biden naked in a hotel room with a woman, who is also undressed.
One word: Yikes
In the clip, the now-president’s son at one point begins recounting a story from a year earlier about his previous laptop being stolen from him.
Biden reportedly says that theft was connected to an incident in which he passed out in a hotel swimming pool while spending time with a “Russian 35-year-old” woman who was “really nice” and a “pure brunette.”
Biden next recalls that a drug dealer “and his two guys” absconded with a laptop, which apparently contained evidence of him “doing crazy [expletive] sex.”
Biden also reportedly states that he had a previous relationship with the individuals, recounting how he “took them everywhere” and that they were involved in “crazy out-of-your-mind s***.”
When the woman asks Biden if he fears a blackmail attempt, he concedes that he does, according to reports, and goes on to note that his father was, at the time, mounting a presidential run.
Media has little to say
Unsurprisingly, the story has received relatively little coverage by mainstream media outlets, a fact that George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley pointed out on his blog.
“The media blackout on Hunter Biden’s laptop remains in force this week despite a major new development with the release of a videotape that purportedly shows Biden claiming that one of his laptops was stolen by Russians for blackmail purposes,” Turley wrote Thursday.
“He allegedly recorded the statement after filming having sex with an alleged prostitute in a Las Vegas hotel. This is major news from any standpoint,” the law professor added.
“Imagine,” he pressed, “if a laptop contained videos of Donald Trump Jr. having sex with an alleged prostitute while talking about how Russians likely have blackmail material on him.”
