Pre-election civil unrest brewed in New York City over the weekend, highlighting some particularly hateful rhetoric by leftist agitators.
During clashes with local law enforcement, one protester openly wished rape and even death on the children of New York Police Department officers, as reported by the Daily Wire.
“The only good cop”
The disturbing display was captured on video amid screaming and shoving between Black Lives Matter activists and others who arrived to confront a group supporting President Donald Trump’s campaign. Some were arrested.
At one point, a female demonstrator shouted: “I hope all of your children get raped and killed.”
Others compared the police to Nazis and expressed a desire to see them killed.
“The only good cop is a dead cop,” said one rioter.

“What we are up against”
For his part, Donald Trump Jr. warned that the ugly display could be a prelude to even more disturbances from those on the far left if the Democratic Party succeeds in winning the election.
“This is what we are up against folks,” he said. “This is what these people want for America.”
In the final campaign push before Election Day, the president once again hammered home his message of law and order as protests and riots across America have left officers injured and intimidated amid a wave of anti-police sentiment in recent months. He specifically referenced both Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, in making the last-minute re-election argument.
“This is yet more evidence why the radical left cannot be trusted with power,” Trump said. “We strongly condemn political violence. We condemn it and we condemn it strongly. Biden must tell his supporters — he doesn’t really have supporters. But let’s face it, he doesn’t have supporters. The guy is shot.”
As businesses across a range of U.S. cities board up their windows in anticipation of possible violence and looting, that get-tough approach on criminal behavior just might be enough to sway some undecided voters.
