President Joe Biden’s messaging on COVID-19 has never been coherent, and there is no sign this is changing as he now demands that every American take the vaccine, whether they like it or not. Even as Biden points the finger at a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” he has implied that the vaccine is not serving its purpose and that vaccinated people need to be “protected” from the unvaccinated.
According to Fox News, Vice President Kamala Harris echoed this confusing message Sunday when she said more must be done to “protect the vaccinated.”
The tweet read, “By vaccinating the unvaccinated, increasing our testing and masking, and protecting the vaccinated, we can end this pandemic. That’s exactly what we are committed to doing.”
Harris’s statement left many people befuddled, with many noting the subtext that the vaccine — which Biden and Harris are making mandatory — is not effective.

“’Protecting the vaccinated’ is an odd argument since the vaccinated are already, you know, vaccinated,” said media critic Joe Concha. This is hardly the first time the Biden administration has sent out contradictory messaging on the vaccine.
There were signs of the confusion to come when, as ABC News noted, Biden called on the vaccinated to put their masks back on in July, essentially conceding that the vaccine does not eliminate the risk of infection, even as he started banging on about a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”
Biden attacks Americans
Biden is sticking with the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” line, pushing his contradictions to new, absurd limits as he continues to suggest that the vaccinated need additional “protection” the vaccine does not already provide.
In an extremely demagogic speech Thursday, Biden told vaccinated Americans he understands their “anger” toward the unvaccinated and promised to “protect” them “from unvaccinated coworkers” by coercing millions of unwilling people to get the shot.
Even as he implied that the vaccine is not effective, Biden repeatedly blamed and dehumanized those who have not taken it, saying, “our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us.”
This is all such obvious nonsense, but then again, maybe it isn’t supposed to make sense. Maybe scapegoating is the whole point.
Unless Biden and Harris are totally deranged, they are making a calculated political move to divide Americans against each other. Sickening.
