Whistleblower exposes 'medically appalling' conditions in world of trans surgery for kids

While many on the left, even the White House, continue to seemingly promote the idea that it's ok for a child to change his or her gender, some who have worked in the industry are finally coming out and speaking the truth.

According to Breitbart, a pediatric gender clinic worker, now a whistleblower with years of experience in the business, has revealed just how bad it is.

The whistleblower describes herself as "to the left" of Bernie Sanders, politically speaking, so her revelations of what's going on behind the scenes are certainly rare, given how far the radical left has gone to make it appear that changing a child's gender is acceptable.

"What’s happening to children is morally and medically appalling," said the whistleblower, Jamie Reed.

The details

Reed's experience included working as a case manager at the Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

She said she finally had to leave her position late last year because she could "no longer participate in what was happening there."

Of many revelations, Reed said she was blown away at "the lack of formal protocols for treatment," noting how little medical evidence is needed for a child to be prescribed related medications like puberty blockers, or even "gender-affirming" surgeries.

Breitbart noted:

A child only needs to have seen a therapist “once or twice for the green light” to start the process and in order to hit the proper marks and “make it more efficient for the therapists, we offered them a template for how to write a letter in support of transition.”

Disturbing details

"Being put on powerful doses of testosterone or estrogen — enough to try to trick your body into mimicking the opposite sex — affects the rest of the body. I doubt that any parent who’s ever consented to give their kid testosterone (a lifelong treatment) knows that they’re also possibly signing their kid up for blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication, and perhaps sleep apnea and diabetes," Reed said.

And those are just the physical possible side effects. The mental and emotional side effects are immeasurable.

"But after working at the center, I came to believe that teenagers are simply not capable of fully grasping what it means to make the decision to become infertile while still a minor," Reed added.

Hopefully, more brave industry workers will follow Reed's lead to help expose what's really going on.
