White House dismisses Leader McCarthy’s threats to impeach Mayorkas

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) seems to be intent on focusing on investigating Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, perhaps even to the level of impeachment.

McCarthy’s threats come as the southern U.S. border continues to be overrun by uncontrollable numbers of illegal aliens.

According to Breitbart, the White House responded to McCarthy’s threats this week.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called McCarthy’s threats a “political stunt.”

“What is his plan?”

Jean-Pierre continued a tired White House talking point that involves questioning what the other sides’ plans are, even when they don’t have any plans themselves, which has been made quite obvious.

KJP made the comments in the wake of a trip McCarthy and others took recently to the southern border.

“What is he doing to help the situation that we’re seeing? What is his plan?” KJP asked rhetorically during the press briefing.

“Instead of doing political stunts and making about making this about politics, why don’t Speaker McCarthy, soon to be Speaker McCarthy, actually put a plan before us, actually come to the table and put some work into it?”

“A solution”

“We have put a solution to this, we have said here are the ways that we can deal with this,” she added, referencing a type of amnesty legislation called the U.S. Citizenship Act.

The highly controversial legislation, which has zero GOP support, would pave a path for millions of illegals in the U.S. to gain citizenship.

It appears as if the White House seems intent on letting the border continue to be overrun, with the hopes of someday turning all those illegals into Democratic voters.
