White House refuses to back down on false report of CBP agents ‘whipping’ Haitian migrants

Though early, false reports of horse-mounted Customs and Border Protection (CBP) “whipping” Haitian migrants has been exhaustively and thoroughly debunked, the White House doubled down on the issue Monday.

According to the Washington Examiner, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki — and by extension, President Joe Biden and his administration — continue to hold the same bogus stance on the matter as they did last week, even though the “whipping” narrative has been proven false.

The White House’s stance comes in the wake of the situation having been clearly explained, even as the reporter who originally took the photo that went viral and sparked the story admitted that Border Patrol agents were not seen whipping the migrants.

Psaki doubles down

For unknown, bizarre reasons that even have many in the left-leaning mainstream media scratching their heads, Psaki insisted that the behavior seen in the photo was inappropriate during a press briefing on Monday, not even providing a chance for an investigation to take place before publicly charging the agents involved.

“I don’t think anyone could look at those photos and think that was appropriate behavior or something that should be accepted within our administration,” Psaki said.

She added: “There’s an investigation that’s ongoing. We’ll let that play out, but our reaction to the photos has not changed.”

Psaki, Biden, and every other Democrat who disgustingly continue to go along with the narrative — which they seemingly desperately want to be true — will have a lot of walking back to do once the official investigation is concluded.

Her stance came even in the wake of new video footage of the incident was published on social media — footage that clearly shows the agents using the reins to control the horses and most certainly not whipping or “running down” Haitian migrants, as Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) would love for you to believe.

Biden’s narrative

Psaki’s latest also came in the wake of the president himself vowing that someone “will pay” as a result of the incident, even after the debunking and notably, before an investigation into the matter barely started.

“It was horrible what — to see, as you saw, to see people treated like they did, horses nearly running them over and people being strapped. It’s outrageous,” Biden said last week.

The president added: “An investigation is underway now, and there will be consequences. There will be consequences. It’s an embarrassment. But beyond an embarrassment, it’s dangerous. It’s wrong. It sends the wrong message around the world. It sends the wrong message at home. It’s simply not who we are.”

It’s crystal clear at this point in time that Biden, the White House, and several of their high-profile Democratic allies are using the story to push lies about “systemic racism” in America. We’ll see if the media holds them accountable for their disgusting lies once the CBP agents involved are completely exonerated.
