Attorney Lin Wood called into Jeanine Pirro’s radio show Sunday morning to discuss allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
In the fiery interview, the Atlanta lawyer maintained his support for President Donald Trump’s efforts to challenge alleged fraud in the state of Georgia and made a shocking pledge to Judge Jeanine that “Joe Biden will never be president.”
“The recount was unlawful”
According to Atlanta’s 11Alive, Wood filed his own lawsuit that accuses Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger of making unilateral and illegal changes to election law via a “consent decree” reached with Democrats in March.
The attorney told Pirro on Sunday that Georgia’s election was “unlawful” and that there needs to be a “do-over” of down-ballot races. He also said that he will appeal his case to the 11th Circuit after a federal judge denied his request for a temporary restraining order last week to stop the results from being certified in the Peach State.
“We’re going to be filing a notice of appeal on Monday,” Wood told Pirro. “The recount was unlawful because it was based on an unlawful vote on November the third.”
Wood went on to confidently predict that Trump’s ongoing legal challenges in Georgia will flip the state and that, with support from his base, Trump will be inaugurated again on Jan. 20.
“Joe Biden will never be president of the United States,” Wood said. “Never.”
Wood doubles down
According to National Review, Wood’s lawsuit was dismissed by a federal judge on Thursday.
“It harms the public interest in countless ways, particularly in the environment in which this election occurred,” the judge said of the suit. “To halt the certification at literally the 11th hour would breed confusion and potentially disenfranchisement that I find has no basis in fact or in law.”
Raffensperger, for his part, certified the state of Georgia for Biden on Friday after a recount was completed, over the objections of Trump and his allies, who have called for another recount. Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani has promised to file another lawsuit in the state, as WBS-TV notes.
Wood, who is currently representing Kyle Rittenhouse, also touched on Rittenhouse’s murder case during his talk with Pirro, calling the 17-year-old defendant a “political prisoner.”
According to the Daily Mail, Wood has also called on Republican voters to not support Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, both Republicans who are running in the highly anticipated Georgia runoffs this January, in order to pressure the GOP to support Trump.
