ABC appears to plant questioners at Biden town hall

To what lengths is the mainstream media willing to go to help Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden get elected? Take a look at this.

Fox News reports that questioners at the recently-held ABC town hall had ties to high-profile Democrats.

Coincidence or not?

The ABC town hall was the one that featured Biden on Thursday night.

It turns out that one of the audience members who asked Biden a question was Nathan Osburn, who, get this, was a speechwriter for the Obama administration. Fox reports that Osburn “specifically worked for the Office of Public Affairs at the Commerce Department . . . and at the Small Business Administration.”

That’s not exactly the average voter you would expect to find at a town hall. But, perhaps most damning, is the fact that ABC actively tried to hide Osburn’s identity, listing his profession only as “communications” and his city as “Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.”

Let’s look at Osburn’s question:

Amy Coney Barrett’s being pushed through at the last minute, even though millions have already voted. So what do you think about ideas from people like Pete Buttigieg and others to put in place safeguards that will help ensure more long-term balance and stability? And what do you say to LGBTQ Americans and others who are very worried right now about erosions of their rights and our democracy as a whole?

The Biden campaign team couldn’t have written a more favorable question itself.

Not just one plant, but two

Another member of the audience who asked a question was Mieke Haeck. Like Osburn, Haeck’s true identity was hidden, being listed only as a “physical therapist” from “State College, Pennsylvania.”

Fox reports: “Haeck is also the wife of Ezra Nanes, a high-profile Democrat in Pennsylvania who in 2018 ran a campaign challenging Republican state Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman. Nanes is currently an at-large member of the Centre County Democratic Committee. Centre County is the county in which State College resides.”

Here’s the question Haeck had for Biden:

My youngest daughter is transgender. The Trump administration has attacked the rights of transgender people, banning them from military service, weakening nondiscrimination protections and even removing the word ‘transgender’ from some government websites. How will you as president reverse this dangerous and discriminatory agenda and ensure that the lives and rights of LGBTQ people are protected under U.S. law?

That’s a nice campaign contribution

In addition to these obvious plants, the event was hosted by George Stephanopoulos, who, as we know, has his own ties to the Democratic party, having been the communications director for former president Bill Clinton. And, Stephanopoulos’ bias, too, was on full display as not only did he help by giving Biden softball questions, but also by throwing Biden a lifeline when the former vice president had some difficulty finding his way.

While this was all taking place, President Donald Trump participated in his own town hall over on NBC where he spent most of the night debating a hostile Savannah Guthrie, the event’s host. It sure must be nice to be Biden, having both the mainstream media and social media on his campaign team, the latter of which was made plain with Twitter and Facebook blocking the New York Post piece about Biden’s son Hunter. How can’t this be a violation of campaign finance laws?
