Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden just let illegal immigrants know that they will be safe under his regime.
Biden reminded voters this week that, if elected president, he will stop deportations for a period of no less than 100 days, Breitbart reports.
Biden first took this stance back in February of this year. During a campaign rally in Reno, Nevada, he was asked about his immigration policy.
He said, in part, “Nobody will be deported who is here, in fact, unless they are in a position of having committed a felony while here or they engaged in a major felony we find out about.”
Biden reiterated this position this week during an interview with Noticias Telemundo.
“I can only imagine what it’s like to see a family member deported … to me it’s all about family, beginning, middle, and end … that’s not going to happen in my administration, it’s simply not going to happen,” Biden said.
What Biden plans to do, if elected, is to freeze all deportations for, at least, the first 100 days of his administration. Then, after that period, he plans on only deporting illegal aliens who are convicted felons.
“There are going to be no deportations in the first 100 days of my [administration] … freeze deportations for the first 100 days and the only people who will be deported are people who committed a felony while here,” Biden said.
But, this is only part of his plan. The other major part of it is to grant amnesty to all illegal aliens, which would be roughly 11 million to 22 million individuals.
“We’re going to reinstate [DACA] and then [DACA illegal aliens are] going to be part of what I’m going to send to the United States Congress is a total immigration bill to provide a pathway to citizenship for undocumented people in the United States of America,” Biden said. “This is … it makes no sense why we wouldn’t do that. They’re part of the reason why we’re growing.”
What about Americans?
Biden and President Donald Trump differ greatly in many areas, perhaps nowhere more than here. But, more interesting is that nowhere does the current Biden differ more from the Biden of the Obama administration than in this area. Let’s not forget after all that as vice president Biden oversaw thousands of deportations.
It just goes to show how far to the left Biden has moved.
