Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has, apparently, been giving advice to the team of Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden.
According to Breitbart, Clinton recently revealed that she told the Biden campaign that, should they win, “they’re gonna have to move really fast.”
Legislation is “teed up”
Clinton’s comments came during a recent interview that she did on SiriusXM’s “Signal Boost.” There she talked about a number of issues, including how Democrats ought to handle the recent confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
But, one of the things that really stuck out was Clinton’s insistence that, should Biden win, he must act “fast” or “quickly.”
“You know I’ve told the, uh, the Obama campaign, I mean – the Obama [laughing] – I’ve told the Biden, uh, campaign and the … and the Biden transition that they’re gonna have to move really fast,” Clinton said. “And we’re going to have to move really quickly.”
Clinton said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “has teed up a lot of great legislation.” And, apparently, a Biden administration, assuming that it gets some help in Congress, would look to immediately push some of this legislation through.
“And one of the areas we’ll have to move quickly on is the courts,” she said. “We’re gonna have to move quickly on everything: election reform, climate change, COVID relief, expanding health care, everything that, uh, we care about.”
Here, Clinton’s message would appear to be in-line with the message of the Biden campaign at the moment.
At a campaign event in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday, Biden promised those in attendance that change was on the horizon, the kind of change that could last “for generations to come.”
“Five days left. Five days,” Biden said. “I believe when you use your power, the power of the vote, we literally are going to change the course of this country for generations to come.”
Now, change could be good and it could be bad. The scary thing about Biden’s promise of changing the course of America “for generations to come” is that we don’t know what that change entails. We don’t know because Biden hasn’t told us and the mainstream media has made sure that he hasn’t had to.
It’s a scary proposition. But, it looks like “quick” and momentous change is what we ought to expect from a Biden administration.
