Dan Bongino calls Trump raid a ‘third world’ tactic

One of the cornerstone of American justice is that everyone is equal under the law. However, some critics say that Monday’s raid by FBI agents on former President Donald Trump’s Florida broke that rule.

One of them is former Secret Service agent and Fox News host Dan Bongino. During an exchange with fellow Fox News host Jesse Waters, he characterized the FBI’s actions as “some third world bulls–t.”

Host compares Trump’s treatment to that Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden

Bongino pointed out the sharp contrast between efforts to get Trump and the easy treatment that high-profile Democrats have received for alleged wrongdoings.

Specifically, he pointed to how former Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid former British spy Christopher Steele and various Russian sources to create the false claim that Trump had colluded with the Russian government.

“What’s she doing right now? Getting a manicure in freaking Chappaqua,” Bongino said of the former secretary of state

Bongino also brought up the exploits of Hunter Biden, stressing that Biden remains free at a mansion in Malibu despite the fact that his abandoned laptop contains video footage of drug consumption and other illegal activity.

“Where are the federal agents?” Bongino demanded, adding, “They’re not in Malibu. They’re not in Chappaqua. They’re in Mar-a-Lago…This is some third-world garbage.”

Attorney general says he “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant”

For his part, Attorney General Merrick Garland addressed the raid during a short press conference on Thursday afternoon during which he took no questions.

Garland informed reporters that he had “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant” for Trump’s home at his home in Palm Beach, Florida.

The attorney general went on to explain that FBI personnel conducted the search as part of an ongoing investigation into the former president’s handling of classified material.
