The mainstream media, without the authority to do so, has declared Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election, and leaders around the world are celebrating.
Why? You may ask. A headline put up by the New York Times, possibly unwittingly, implies the answer: “Biden Victory Brings Sighs of Relief Overseas.”
That’s right. President Donald Trump put an end to other countries taking advantage of America, and those countries hated him for it. Now, world leaders are expecting, under a Biden administration – if one does come to pass – a return to the way things were before Trump’s presidency, and they’re not even hiding this fact.
“Things are going to get a lot easier”
The most honest statement on the matter was put forth by current and former members of the European Union. One of those individuals is Jean-Claude Juncker, the former president of the European Commission.
“Things are going to get a lot easier because Joe Biden understands Europe better than Donald Trump,” Breitbart reports Juncker as saying.
Mugtaba Rahman, the director of the Europe office of the Eurasia Group risk analysis firm, added that “With Biden as president, the E.U. could expect and welcome a much more predictable and constructive U.S.-E.U. relationship on trade, NATO, Iran, the Middle East and above all on climate change, if the U.S. re-enters the Paris climate agreement.”
Indeed, reports have already indicated that Biden, as president, would look to undo what President Trump has done in these areas with immediate executive actions. America and the American worker will pay the price.
It gets worse
A pretty clear indicator that something is not right is when you have a country like Iran praising the results of the 2020 presidential election, and that is exactly what it has been doing.
Eshagh Jahangiri, the vice president of Iran, said in a statement: “I hope we will see a change in the destructive policies of the United States, a return to the rule of law and international obligations and respect for nations.”
Remember the Iran deal? Obama’s legacy. If Biden’s Iran policy is anything like that we’re in trouble. And, what about China, you may ask?
There have been tensions between the United States and China under the Trump administration, and that is because President Trump has not been letting the communist regime get its own way. Here, it is less clear than elsewhere what approach a President Biden would take, but the Chinese appear hopeful. One state propagandist is already selling Biden to the Chinese people as a “tenacious man. ”
The 2020 presidential election, of course, is far from over with votes still needing to be counted and with legal issues still needing to be resolved. But, with world leaders already congratulating Biden on his victory it’s apparent that, under a Biden administration, they would expect a return to the pre-Trump days, and they would appear to be right, which is bad news for America.
